The 2026 Boone Suzuki Workshop

Registration is now open for the 8th Annual Boone Suzuki Workshop taking place Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2026.
As usual we will be running our workshop concurrently with the Appalachian GuitarFest at Appalachian University. This is an international guitar festival which brings in artists from all over the world to compete as well as offers concerts and workshops. It promises to be a great event. We have arranged the Boone Suzuki Guitar Workshop schedule so that our
students can enjoy both events and come back inspired!
ATTENTION: The deadline to register is Friday, March 6. After that date, we will not be able to have a T-shirt for you and we really want all our students to have T-shirts! We also cannot guarantee an elective choice for you.

Schedule of Events
Friday March 27
2:30-4:45pm - Check-in
3:00-5:00pm - Private lessons for those who signed up with teachers in advance
5:00-6:15pm - Play-in (all welcome, including pre-Twinklers!)
7:30pm - Faculty Concert (optional)
Saturday March 28
Saturday morning classes start at 9 o'clock unless you are in the division IV competition, in which case you may want to participate in the optional 8 o'clock “Performance Development" class that serves as a kind of preparation for participation in the competition. A similar optional class for the division III and II Students Takes place at 9 AM. Our final event is our Saturday final concert from 5-6 PM.

Sunday March 29
There are no activity scheduled for Sunday, but it's worth staying to see the finals of the division one competition. There are some excellent players to be heard!
